Reclaimed Furniture
We’ve been getting our hands into all types of projects since our arrival on the scene, one of which that we’re really excited about is a new project we liked to call “reclaimed furniture” Essentially, it is what it sounds like it is… finding new and innovative uses for old furniture.
For our most recent project, we were given a headboard and footboard from an antique bed and asked to turn them into chic, elegant couches for a sitting area. Here’s a few process pics to tide you over…

Prefab77 “Britannia” APs
Prefab77’s print, “Britannia” has already come and gone and sold out in under 10 minutes…these prints go beyond prints and become small editions of originals on paper, heavy paints, inks and varnish that soak into the paper and give it its own character and life… real beauty’s to look at.
BUT there’s a sunny side…
There are 3 AP’s that are overly hand embellished, with black, gold and red spray dustings and drips. They will be available first at the show tonight. If there are any left, there will be a draft for the remaining prints. If you’re interested email roman@BLDGrefuge.com to be put in the drawing. They are priced at $250 a piece.

Prefab77 Print Info & Release
We will be releasing two Prefab77 prints, in conjunction with their show, “Shot at from Both Sides” at The BLDG on November 13th.
Prefab77’s latest work seemingly explodes out of the minds of geniuses and places them on a new level of brilliance in the street art scene. With visual references from the UK and USA alike, Abe Lincoln, King Kong, knights, Doc Marten’s, biker girls, lions and so much more all unify to tell the new story that is Prefab77.

Jim Houser Print Release TODAY
Today at 11 a.m. EST The BLDG (www.BLDGrefuge.com)will be releasing a new print by Jim Houser entitled “Make Room for the Emptiness” We are pleased to print this piece in conjunction with Jonathan LeVine for Jim’s show that opened this past Saturday (Oct. 24th) at The Jonathan LeVine Gallery. It is an 11″x14″ 6 color hand-pulled screen print on 100% cotton rag paper. Edition of 200. Jim Houser prints are a rarity so it’s very likely they will go quickly, good luck!
Prefab77 Show Print Giveaway
The Prefab77 show is in full swing and the show print is completed… most will be hung around the city of Cincinnati in an effort to spread the word about the show on November 13th. Though, as we know not all of you can make a trip down to Cincinnati for the sole purpose of stripping the streets of show prints, we’re gonna give one away.

Long Lost Stranger – Mama Quilla
A long lost stranger has returned to us. You may remember 3 months ago when we posted about printing the Fefe Talavera edition… well a long journey to Spain and back, has finally brought them home to our doorstep today, signed and numbered. These will go up for sale in the near future, we’ll fill you in when we know more.
Prefab77 Show Poster

New Jim Houser Print
We recently collaborated with The Jonathan LeVine Gallery to do a print for Jim Houser’s upcoming show at Jonathan’s space in Chelsea, NYC. The piece is called “Make Room for the Emptiness” It’s a 6 color 11″x14″ print that will be for sale for $75 at the show this Saturday, October 24th and afterwards on our website and in Jonathan LeVine’s store.
