Mark Dean Veca Mural

I really like the fact that Mark is very honest about his art. He’s not trying to derive some bullshit idea of what his work represents so deeply that it becomes abstract for the sake of being abstract. I think his comment about one not having to have gone to art school to appreciate art is right on point. I think to a degree the art world has lost its roots in that respect.
